This study aims to measure the level of adolescents’ understanding regarding the dangers of online loans and online gambling, two increasingly accessible digital phenomena that pose significant risks to young people. The research involved 46 twelfth-grade students of SMAN 1 Darma and utilized a Likert-scale questionnaire covering aspects of knowledge, financial risks, psychological and social risks, legal awareness, solutions, and religious considerations. The findings indicate that adolescents' understanding falls into the “moderately knowledgeable” category, with the highest score in financial risk awareness and the lowest in solution-oriented actions. Students generally hold restrictive attitudes toward online loans and gambling, although permissive tendencies still appear in some areas. Qualitative analysis shows that social media advertising, economic needs, and peer influence are the main drivers of adolescents’ interest in these practices. Overall, adolescents understand the risks but still lack concrete action skills. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening digital literacy and action literacy through collaboration between schools, families, and relevant institutions).
