Abstrak

Understanding of Islamic religion in Indonesia, especially in villages like Kawahmanuk, is still relatively low, particularly in the aspect of women's fiqh and basic understanding of aurat. Through an empowerment program for women in Kawahmanuk Village by studying a fiqh book specifically for women, there has been a significant increase in awareness of covering aurat, albeit gradually, starting with the habit of wearing hijab when leaving the house. The main challenges faced include the understanding and application of fully covering aurat, such as the use of socks and inner hijab, which remain difficult to apply consistently by the residents. However, understanding of menstruation and postpartum bleeding has improved sufficiently, with elderly women also able to understand and then teach the younger generation in the village. This fiqh study program, conducted in the context of community service (KPM), has brought positive impacts with a dialogic and contextual approach, which not only strengthens religious capacity but also empowers women as agents of social change in the village community. This success underscores the importance of sustainable and relevant religious education in improving the quality of life for village women comprehensively and continuously.
